Good Afternoon,
After consulting with the pastors in the Rochester area Father Thompson has made the decision to suspend Faith Formation programs until April 15th.
This decision affects the following programs:
- Sunday School
- Kingdom Kids (Monday evenings)
- Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Wednesday evenings)
- Proof, including Confirmation Small Groups (Wednesday evenings)
- Confirmation (Sunday evenings)
Family dinners, usually held on Wednesdays, will also be suspended until April 15th.
We will continue to monitor the situation as it progresses and communicate with you any details about resuming, or further suspending if deemed prudent.
Our staff will be working on some possible online/at home formation options for you and your family. Look for notes from them in the coming week with further details.
Furthermore, Bishop Quinn has suspended your obligation to attend Sunday Mass, so if you decide it is best for you and/or your family to stay home you may do so. I've attached his statement for your information and I encourage you to read it.
As always, Mass can be viewed from home on KAAL or on the Diocese of Winona-Rochester's website:
dowr.org
At this time decisions about other parish events and ministry groups will be made on case-by-case basis. Please check with the leaders of those events/groups for further information. We will provide further guidance and update you as needed.
Please pray for all those who have contracted and will contract the virus, that they might recover quickly and without further complications. Most importantly, lift up our most vulnerable individuals in prayer that they might be surrounded by the Father's protection.
Finally, we are here as a community for all our members, if you are in need please let us know and we will do what we can to assist. We believe in the power of prayer and we trust in the healing and saving power of God. We encourage all members of our community to come together in prayer and deed so that we might flood the Rochester area with the Presence, Love, and Peace of Christ.
If you have further questions and/or would like any clarifications feel free to send them my way and/or contact our Parish Administrator, Jessica Scully, at:
Peace,
Zach Rawson

On a related note. I love to ask Mary to intercede for me especially through her title of Mother of Perpetual Help. She is always seeking our prayers, don't be afraid to bring any of your fear, anxieties, confusion, pain, suffering, etc... to her. If you want to join me in praying a novena through her intercession you can find it
