Dear Brothers and Sisters,
At the end of yesterday’s Wednesday Audience, Pope Francis asked all Catholics in the world to unite Spiritually and to pray the Luminous Mysteries of the Rosary in unison at 9:00 p.m. Roman time (1:00 p.m. Tucson time), today, March 19th, the Feast of St. Joseph, the Protector of Families. The intention is for the protection of our families, in particular the sick as well as doctors, nurses, first responders, volunteers, and all who risk their lives in this service.
I will be in my chapel praying the rosary at 1:00 today. I ask that you join Pope Francis, me, and Catholics around the world in this prayer. You might note too that I have already posted a Mass for today on the front of our Diocesan web page.
May God bless you and keep you safe. – Bishop Edward J. Weisenburger
