Dear Elyria Catholic Community,
The Cleveland Clinic has reached out to the Diocese of Cleveland asking all of us to help fill a potential need for child and senior care for healthcare providers' families. The application linked below will place applicants into an internal pool for consideration by Cleveland Clinic employees, enabling those needing care to connect individually with those who are able to provide service. This could be particularly opportune for any educators, aides, or others whose work may not translate well to remote operations during the required closures. Recent HS alumni whose college schedules have recently changed may also be interested. The role of our Catholic school network is simply to spread the word. Any potential employment arrangement would be between the applicants and the Clinic caregivers who choose to employ them.
Governor DeWine has announced the closure of senior care centers and has signaled that the closure of daycare centers is likely coming. This effort by the Cleveland Clinic is intended to prepare caregivers in their system for these changes.
Please read the following information and share with anyone you may know that could potentially be of assistance. Thank you in advance for your willingness to help those who are helping so many!
Cleveland Clinic employees are dedicated to caring for our community during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
As our employees care for the community, they need access to competent, reliable child and senior care.
