SHUT DOWN
Today, Tuesday, March 24, we are sending everyone home. The Parish Office will close at noon today. We have a plan for mail, maintenance and emergency calls but everyone will be working from home until further notice. We are waiting for a word from the Archdiocese and anticipate that we will also close the sanctuary. We have no one to wipe down door handles or clean pews. As of today it will not be open for prayer. Basically, we are shut down and will vacate the property at noon today. As soon as I finished this note I am headed over to lock down the sanctuary.
FOOD DISTRIBUTION
This Friday, March 27, will be our last drive - through food distribution until further notice. We will offer one bag/car from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. At this time we are not accepting donations. Everyone is welcome to set aside some of the regular Christian Action items at home until we are once again open and will need to restock the pantry. Thank you for supporting the work of Christian Action.
ON LINE GIVING/SUNDAY ENVELOPE
The Finance Council met on conference call last week and have worked out an adjusted operating budget for the next few months. Believe it or not, there are bills to pay, ac to keep going, salaries to pay. So, even as we have reduced utility costs and shut down programs, we depend upon your generosity and your Sunday Faith Commitment to keep things going.
If you are able, please consider mailing in your Sunday Offering Envelope. It will be a huge help. Please consider signing up for on line giving with Faith Direct. You will find a link on our web page.
WEB PAGE/YOU TUBE
We are working to post regular liturgical events on the web page. You will find daily audio reflections, a video of Sunday Eucharist, Lenten Stations of the Cross and more, much more. The same goes for ongoing Faith Faith Formation opportunities for individuals and families. Check often.
See you soon!! Stay at home. Be safe.
