What will our resurrected bodies be like?

At each Mass, we Christians affirm our belief in “the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.”

We believe not only in Jesus’ Resurrection, but in the resurrection of our own bodies at the end of time.

But what will this be like? What form will our bodies take?

• Do you ever think that only the soul matters, but not the body? How does the promise of bodily resurrection change that perspective?
• How would you explain the “transfigured body” that each of us will receive after we rise from the dead?
