COVID-19 UPDATE (3/24/20)
Earlier today, Harris County and the City of Houston issued a Stay Home-Work Safe Order, in effect midnight tonight. In the wake of this news, St. Laurence will close the Chapel of Divine Mercy at 9pm tonight, and suspend Perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, until further notice.
At this time, we plan to keep the church open and available for private prayer (10 people limit) from 6:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday. As well, the parish office is open 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
As previously announced, the parish school, Ave Maria Parish Life Center and all gathering & meeting rooms are closed. All Masses, meetings, classes & parish events are suspended.
Fr. Drew and Fr. Jaison celebrated Mass last Sunday, which is still available to view HERE. Plan to join them again this coming weekend, starting 6pm Saturday evening through Sunday night. Create a holy place to watch, then gather around the TV, computer or on your phone to spiritually connect to the Eucharist and to your St. Laurence family.
