Looking for a way to help this Lent?
The Saint Vincent de Paul Society is keeping their pantry open. They do home deliveries to those in need and help people with their utility bills. God is calling us to help the poor during this crisis. Any and all donations appreciated.
In order to keep our pantry open, we must have donations. Donate this Saturday (April 4th) in the parking lot at Saint Mary (near Noll Hall) from 2 to 3.
We are accepting the following items:
Frozen meat like lunch meat, hot dogs, chicken, and beef( that has not been frozen for more than 6 months),bread or buns, canned meat, cleaning supplies (clorox wipes, etc), pasta sauce in cans, mixed variety of vegetables ( not green bean or corn), pancake mix, canned fruit, pork and beans, pasta sides, potato (mashed or canned), cooking oil, peanut butter and jelly, canned pasta like ravioli, snacks, syrup.
Keep in mind children are home from school.
If you would like to help monetarily, please write a check to St Vincent de Paul Society and put deposit only on the back. No cash please.
If you are going to St Francis, stop by and visit Jesus through the glass in the narthex.
Please follow social distancing practices when putting the food in the car and/or visiting Jesus.
May God bless you for your generosity!
