Dear friends,
I hope that this note finds you well, all things considered...
I am writing to share with you some good news (and to ask a small favor)! Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish, along with every other parish in the Diocese of Madison, has recently started using Flocknote, a communications platform that enables churches to communicate with their members more immediately and effectively, especially during times like these.
Flocknote allows us to communicate with you quickly through email and text messages. Furthermore, it is free for you to use and you don’t have to download anything in order to participate. To join, all that you need to do is either of the following:
Text the word btcatholic to 84576
or
When you do so you will be able to join one or both of 2 "subscription groups" (at least now, initially, as we get this up and running; hopefully going forward we can add more groups like Religious Ed Grades 6-12, etc.):
1) Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish Updates;
and
2) Blessed Trinity Daily Inspiration.
I kindly ask each of you to please sign up for the "Blessed Trinity Catholic Parish Updates" group (and also the Daily Inspiration if you are interested in getting daily faith "nuggets" from me at some point in the near future once I get the time to start providing these), as this will be the primary way that we keep you informed about what is going on at the parish while we go through this difficult period of pandemic.
Now I am sure that you are ready and eager to sign up, but just in case you have any more questions here are some of the most common ones along with answers:
Q. Am I "in for good" if I sign up?
A. Nope! The nice thing about this great service is that it's always free, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Q. Is my information secure?
A. Yes. All of your data is transmitted across an encrypted internet connection, and all of your personal information is stored in secure databases. Your information is never (ever!) sold, rented or given away to any third-parties. Find more info at flocknote.com/privacy
Q. What if I don't have texting?
A. You can still sign up! As long as you have an email address you are good to go!
Now just in case I still haven't convinced you to sign up here is one last incentive: from all of those who do sign up this week by Friday (April 3) at 11:59pm, I will draw one name and bake and deliver a dozen homemade cookies to that individual/family! Think about it...homemade "Fr. Scott cookies!"
So, once again, to sign up:
Text the word btcatholic to 84576
or
Finally, if you have any other questions please feel free to contact me via email (fr.scott.jablonski@btcatholic.us). I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible - but please know that there is a lot on my plate right now (so thanks for your patience!).
Please know of my continued prayers for all of you! And, please continue to pray for me as well!
May the risen Lord Jesus continue to be our hope and strength, both now and always,
Fr. Scott
