ONLINE ZOOM CLASS ON "TRIDUUM at HOME" is open to any parish adult or high school teen at 7 PM Holy Wednesday, April 8. Ron Donatelli will explain the Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday) events and respective church service liturgies to help everyone to be able to enter these sacred days spiritually at home. You will be able to ask questions and comment and access either by phone or by computer screen at home. Father Kevin and Deacon Tim Noca will also be available to comment and respond on this interactive class. Use the link below to connect. Note that only the first 100 participants will be able to enter the class, but it will be recorded and available online at a later date.
PURPOSE OF PRAYER is the first of our Engage with OPV, a video and chat program with Bishop Barron and the Word on Fire program. You simply watch a 10-15 minute video at your time and convenience, read the text and respond or comment with questions. Father George is moderating the online discussion. The first episode contains beautiful scenes of grand churches in France (including the before-burnt Notre Dame). We will have other series and bible studies in the future, so subscribe on Flocknote to "Engage with OPV." Contact Rich Myler - communication@opvcatholic.org if you are having trouble accessing.
TRIDUUM & EASTER are on a special schedule. Special treats for kids will be available after each Easter Morning Mass (and 8 AM at SJB) at the same locations as the Blessed Palms. (Note that the assembly of those Easter treats was limited to a small handful of people packaging at our rectory garage with gloves and also that gluten-free treats will be available for families on the St. John Rectory Porch ONLY after 8 AM Easter morning)
