A CITYWIDE APPLAUSE FOR ESSENTIAL WORKERS
Dear parishioners,
Let us join today at 7.00 pm all the people of the City of White Plains in showing our healthcare workers and other essential workers our heartfelt support and gratitude. In honor of our essential workers, let us come out but stay 6 feet apart on our balconies, in our driveways or front yards to make some noise either clapping or blowing whistles or waving flags. At the Parish Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we will ring our Church bells. Please, in a Spirit of Solidarity with the ones who are saving lives on the frontline, let us show our support during this critical time when we find ourselves at war with the coronavirus. Let us show that we are ONE and standing together.

Prayer for those who tend the sick
Almighty God, Father of mercies,
in his earthly life your son Jesus
Christ went about doing good,
healing all manner of sickness and
disease among the people;
Comfort, heal and sanctify those
who suffer in body, mind or spirit;
Grant to all doctors and nurses,
and to all who tend the sick,
skill, sympathy, and patience;
bless all who labor to prevent suffering,
make them instruments of your healing love,
and continue through them your
loving purposes among us,
through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

UN APLAUSO EN TODA LA CIUDAD PARA TRABAJADORES ESENCIALES
Estimados feligreses,

sanando todo tipo de enfermedades entre la gente;
Consuela, cura y santifica a quienes
sufren en cuerpo, mente o espíritu;
habilidades, simpatía y paciencia;
tu amor sanador
y continúa a través de ellos
tus propósitos amorosos entre nosotros,
a través del mismo Jesucristo nuestro Señor.
Amén.
