Our ambition got the best of us and we hoped to provide parishioners with palms but to maintain the safety of our volunteers and parishioners we are going to cancel our distribution but offer you other ways to enter more fully into our faith Traditions these coming weeks. We hope that when we are able to come together again we will make the palms available.
On Sunday, consider reading the Gospel which would usually be read before the procession on Palm Sunday (
http://www.usccb.org/bible/readings/040520.cfm) and take a walk outside. A beautiful idea that was shared is to place a branch on the door of your home or in the window. If all Catholics did this it would provide a sense of solidarity and unity in the Body of Christ. We will be live-streaming Mass Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 10:30am.
Ascension Presents is hosting a virtual mini-retreat tonight. If you've never been on a retreat, today you can take one from your sofa. Check it out:

https://youtu.be/0ITkov4GkvMThese are difficult times, but remain in hope, keep praying, turn off the news and pick up your bible. Let us turn our hearts towards that which is eternal and never ending, the deep love that God has for each one of us and calls us to love Him and our neighbor. May the peace of Christ be with you today.
