Today-April 2nd- marks the 15th anniversary of the death of Pope St. John Paul II.
If your schedule allows, we are invited to light a candle today and pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
Lord Jesus, we ask that through the intercession of St. John Paul II,
God may have mercy upon the whole world, and bring to an end the COVID-19 virus.
May God’s mercy bring it about to open the churches once again as we ask that in His great love, our Lord may bring our families and communities back to Him to worship, in Spirit and Truth, for we hunger for the Sacraments. Lord Jesus, we seek forgiveness and ask your pardon.
In your goodness dear Lord, may we return to work with a renewed desire to work for the Kingdom of God with our eyes fixed on His most holy will.
May all those suffering from infection of this virus, those unemployed, those in isolation, those who are dying alone, medical teams and first responders be protected alongside President Trump and government officials working to end this pandemic.
We ask through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Joseph, that all who are affected by this disease, may indeed be healed, as we pray in union with all the Holy Masses being offered throughout the world for the end to the virus. May the Holy Spirit usher in a greater increase in the virtues of faith, hope, and charity and renew the face of the earth.
May we, today, in a spirit of humility, in addition to our daily prayers, offer to pray
the Chaplet of Divine Mercy today, the anniversary of Pope John Paul II's death 20 years ago today.
(Providentially, this year also marks the 100th Anniversary of his birth (May 18th 1920).
In prayer for you,
Cielo T., Rosanne C., Nancy U., Sheryl H., and the members of the Divine Mercy Cenacle.
