Confessions:
Scheduled Confessions Have Been Suspended: The Diocese of Austin has mandated that all confessions be suspended due to concerns about social distancing and the possibility of more than 10 people gathering at one time.
What can you do if you feel that you need forgiveness for you sins?At his daily mass on March 20 Pope Francis said that those who cannot go to reconciliation because of the current situation can go to God directly, be specific about theirs sins, request pardon and experience God’s loving forgiveness. He said that you can go directly to God, tell him the truth and ask for pardon with all your heart. He added that one should make an act of contrition and then promise God that you will go to receive the sacrament of reconciliation when it is possible.
Palm Sunday
Palms will be blessed this Sunday. You will have 2 options for receiving palms. From 1 PM to 4 PM this Sunday, April 5, you may drive up to the church and receive your palms and a Triduum booklet for upcoming Holy Week services. Volunteers will be wearing gloves for this distribution. We ask that you remain in your car and observe social distancing. You may also pick up your palm and Triduum booklet in the church narthex after 4 PM this Sunday and any time the following week during the open hours.

Secure Offertory Boxes
Secure offertory collection boxes are now located outside the Parish Office and in the Narthex of the Church.
The offertory collection sustains the parish. With Masses cancelled we ask that you still take time to donate.
For the next 2 months the diocese is reducing their assessment on our offertory collections from 10% down to 5%. Therefore, more of your donation will stay with Emmaus. Every donation made is beneficial to the parish; however, if you are or can be an annual giver, meaning giving your total yearly donations in one lump sum, this would benefit our parish a great deal if you can make that donation in April or May.
