Dear Parishioners,
As we prepare to enter into Holy Week this year, we are mindful of doing our part to be in unity with the spirit of the safety health measures that will keep our family and our neighbor healthy and ultimately save lives from the spread of the Coronavirus.
Passion Sunday Mass will be online at our parish website and the Epiphany YouTube Channel on Sunday morning. Also, there will be some tables with blessed palm branches right outside of our church's main entrance on Palm Sunday if you would like to come by to pick up palms for your family. The church is still closed for now in order to again keep with the spirit of the health and safety measures in place. Also, we have our Stations of the Cross video already on our parish website to pray the Way of the Cross during these final days of Lent and beyond.
Starting Thursday, our liturgies will be broadcast LIVE on our parish website, YouTube channel and Facebook page. Check our parish website for the links! We are mindful that there are challenges to live-streaming the liturgy, particularly factors associated with connectivity (especially on Easter Sunday morning). The good news is that the Masses will be recorded while streaming live and then we will be able to upload it afterwards for viewing anytime.
We hope you will join us in spiritual communion live on the following dates and times:
Holy Thursday 7:00pm
Good Friday 3:00pm
Easter Vigil 8:30pm
Easter Sunday 9:45am
We picked the regular time of 9:45am Mass on Easter Sunday morning to give us a sense of normalcy in this extraordinary time and circumstance we are facing. Holy Week, we know, is a time of deep outpouring of grace and we, as a people of hope, believe God blesses His children abundantly for our faith in and devotion to His Son and His Church. Please be assured that you and your family will be in our prayerful intentions in the Lord during these special liturgies of Holy Week as we invoke the fullness of the Easter blessings upon God's faithful People.
Devotedly yours in Christ,
Fr. Tom Lam
