This Holy Week is certainly not what we planned for or what we would usually expect during this last week of Lent, but that doesn't mean we can't still make it holy!
Below are some tips and ideas to help you stay focused on our Savior this week.
- Pray with us - Pray with us as we live-stream our special Holy Week Liturgies this week (see schedule below). Also, join us each day at 3 pm on Facebook or our website as we live-stream Adoration and praying of the Rosary every day throughout Lent and Easter. On Good Friday, we will pray the Stations of the Cross at 3 pm.
- Create a Space for Prayer in your Home - Create a space set apart specifically as a sacred space where you can come and pray. Use this space to focus on the Lord this week.
- Pray a family rosary - Pray the sorrowful mysteries throughout Holy week and the glorious mysteries on Easter Sunday. You can even get out and take a Rosary walk!
- Read the Gospels - Especially the end of the Gospels where the Lord prepares for His death and resurrection.
- Pray the litany of the Sacred Heart on Good Friday - An indulgence is being granted for all those who say this Litany on Good Friday, are truly repentant of their sins (and commit to go to Confession as soon as the Sacrament is available again), and pray for the Pope's intentions. - Pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet - Especially on Good Friday. It can be found here.
- Make little sacrifices every day - This can be as simple as giving up dessert, taking a cold or lukewarm shower, not adding salt to your food, or allowing someone else in your family first pick at a family movie or activity.
- Decorate the area where you watch our Live-streamed Masses - In order to help you better focus on the Lord
- Pray the Angelus at 9 am Easter morning - This was requested by Bishop Rhoades. A link to this prayer can be found here. Our Church bells will be ringing!
- CELEBRATE EASTER - Call family and friends you can't be with, eat a meal as a family, pray the glorious mysteries of the Rosary. While we may be unable to leave our homes to celebrate as we wish, we should not forget to celebrate nonetheless.

- Chrism Mass with Bishop Rhoades - Holy Thursday, April 9 at 10 am
- Via the Diocesan Facebook Page or YouTube Channel
- Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper - 7 pm
- Followed by an hour of adoration as Fr. Dave leads us in prayer
- Good Friday Liturgy - 1 pm
- Stations of the Cross - 3 pm
- Easter Vigil - 8:15 pm
- Easter Sunday - 9:30 am
- Adoration and Rosary - 3 pm
Palms Update - Palms will not be distributed until after Holy Week, but they will still be blessed and distributed at a later date after public Masses resume.
Sacrament of Reconciliation: We are not allowed to have publicly scheduled Confessions due to COVID-19. If you wish to go to Confession call the Parish office (432-0268) and leave a message and phone number for Fr. Thomas, Fr. Louis or Fr. Dave.
