On Saint Nicholas Feast Day of December 6, we will decorate and assemble bags with holy cards, treats, and invitations to Mass and holiday church events. Bring a bag of individually wrapped candy and be in Johnson Hall by 6:30 p.m. to take your place in the assembly line! Once packed, we’ll sneak to the porches of homes surrounding our church neighborhood, leave the loot on the doorstep, ring the bell, and disappear before our unsuspecting friends-to-be can discover us! THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT; ALL AGES INCLUDING ADULTS ARE WELCOME! Children under the age of 18 must have a parent present to make deliveries with us. When all of our treat bags are delivered, we’ll return to Johnson Hall for cookies and hot chocolate. Not physically able to make the deliveries? Then come for just the decorating and assembling portion, then wait in Johnson Hall until we return and join us for refreshments!
RSVP appreciated but not necessary;
Many who aren't regular church-goers seek faith opportunities during the Christmas season. We want everyone to know they are always welcome at St. Francis de Sales Church! Given our downtown location, we have a unique opportunity to reach out to those who live within walking distance of our parish but have never visited us or participated in a Mass or other church activity. WE NEED YOU HELP US EXTEND THIS SPECIAL INVITATION!
