Special Message to St. Maximilian Kolbe Ministries
We know that this is a difficult time for you and your families. We want you to know that we are praying for you daily and for everyone who is affected by the COVID-19 virus.
As a community, St. Max is well known as a very loving and caring parish community. It is difficult for all of us to be separated from our close friends within our parish community during the imposed isolation required as a response to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Our compassion for each other draws our hearts to seek ways to aid our parish and local communities. Many elderly, ill, or disabled persons may need assistance from others to get groceries, to cook meals, to go to the doctor, or to perform other necessary activities.
We are requesting that the ministry leaders reach out to the members of their ministries and ask if any of their members need any assistance or know of other parishioners within our St. Max community that need assistance that our St. Max community could provide.
We also request that ministry leaders inquire if any of their members or others within our community, are willing to be the face of Christ to homebound persons as part of a Compassion network of parishioners who are willing to aid others in this time of uncertainty and fear.
Please contact the parish office at
Kolbe@stmaxchurch.org with all requests for assistance and lists of parishioners who would like to be part of the Compassion network.
