COVID-19 Updates

All Normal Church activities remain postponed until further notice; however, we will still be having drive-in services!

Times are still changing as the world deals with the Corona Virus pandemic. Our ability to worship as a community in our parking lot has been meaningful and memorable, and we will continue this Sunday! Join us at 9:30 AM or 10:30 AM! See you there!

Morning Worship April 12, 2020

"Drive-In Easter Worship" was moving last Sunday. While we reflected on Christ's resurrection in a different space then we have done before, it was a blessing to spend the morning together.

We studied John 20 1-18. The tomb is EMPTY!

Tennessee Tornado Relief

You may be aware that Middle Tennessee was ravaged by tornadoes last week. Many lives lost and still many more tragically affected by the storms. Our sister church in Cookeville,TN had members that lost homes and even their lives in the storms. We also have friends that work with the homeless in these areas that were devastated by the tornadoes. Several of the areas where the homeless could take no shelter were hit the hardest and Sacred Sparks Ministries is working to help the survivors make it through these tougher than tough times. The effort to clean up and rebuild will last long after the news coverage is gone.We are collecting monies to support our friends at the Cookeville CP Church and our friends at Sacred Sparks Ministries throughout the month of March. You can give by checks with "tornado" in the memo, or give online through our website at www.cumberlandchurch.com

Congratulations to Jerry and Suzanne Edwards, their granddaughter, Eleanor Virginia Stephens, was born April 9th. Proud parents and Sarah Anne and Gary Stephens.

Pray for Cindy Shawver who has possibly broken her arm and suffered other issues after a fall last night. She is at home until the swelling goes down.

Jack and Rose Alice Hatcher’s son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Micky Hatcher are seeing a re-occurrence of COVID 19 in their area of China.

Terry Dial is in ICU in Bowling Green, KY with COVID-19.

Debbie Lofton, longtime worker with New Life Union Mission, passed away April 10, 2020. Sympathy is extended to husband Mark, and his family.

Wendy Greene – coworker of Brandon Nolen; in New York providing care for COVID 19 patients

Comfort for those in fear during this COVID 19 crisis
