Two goals for the program, one to learn some profoundly important things about our Church's history and second, to become better Catholics because of it. History matters because it reveals truths about our faith that are important to our everyday lives and our worship. As Matthew Kelley would say, knowing how we got to where we are should help us become better-versions-of-ourselves!
Sunday mornings after the 9AM Mass in the Bernadette Center. Coffee, an excellent talk by Bishop Robert Barron and adequate time to discuss it.
10:15AM to 11:15AM, same time as the Children and Youth Faith Formation classes. First session is this Sunday, January 8 Registration is not needed. Just show up for any of the sessions .....but you'll definitely get more out of it the more sessions you attend!
Oh yes, the program is called Catholicism: The Pivotal Players. It's about how prominent Saints influenced the development of the Church. It is the follow-on program to the world-famous Catholicism series by Bishop Barron.
