Online Educational Opportunities to grow in your faith.
During this time of the separation, St. Therese Parish is working hard to offer online options to help you stay connected with Faith and Community. Here are a few of the classes we are offering.
Weekly Classes:
Monday, April 27, 6:30 PM or Wednesday April 29, 9:30 AM - The Bible Timeline: The Story of Salvation (Two groups, one meeting Monday night, one Weds. morning): The Bible Timeline study program takes you on a guided journey through salvation history.
Tuesday April 28 7:30 PM - The Petitions of the Our Father (meets Tuesdays at 7:30 PM): This series will go line by line through the prayer highlighting what it meant to Jesus’ first century audience and what it means for us today.
Thursday April 30 The Screwtape Letters (meets Thursdays at 7:00 PM): A book study of the Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis. This work of fiction offers tremendous insight into the spiritual warfare we face each day. It is a slightly humorous, yet deeply revealing, look at the wiles of evil, and the sneaky way in which we are tempted in our daily lives. Each week we will discuss a number of the letters on a topical basis. Adults and Teens are encouraged to join the discussion.
Friday April 25, 12 Noon - Weekly Readings Discussion Group (meets Fridays at 12 noon): Each week we'll get together in an informal group setting to discuss the readings from the Sunday Mass and share insights with each other into Holy Scripture
All of these will be held via the internet using Zoom platform.
