Happy 4th Friday of Easter!
I pray everyone is doing well, staying safe and healthy. I look forward to welcoming all of you back for Mass next week.
By now everyone should have received my letter in the mail explaining the protocols in place for everyone’s safety as we prepare to resume the celebration of public Masses. I would like to thank everyone who is assisting me with the preparations taking place behind the scenes.
To reiterate Cardinal Dinardo, “the obligation to attend Sunday Mass and Holy Days of obligation remains suspended. It is still recommended that people, especially those who are 65 years and older, or are vulnerable, should remain at home and participate by watching on television or livestream.” However, if you feel comfortable to attend a weekday Mass, you now can attend daily Mass beginning on May 12th and stay home on the weekend. Daily Mass will be celebrated Tuesday through Friday at 12:00 p.m.
I would like to thank everyone in advance for your cooperation, patience and understanding, as together we enter a new way of practicing our faith during this unprecedented global pandemic.
Peace and many blessings!
Fr. Eli
I would like to share with you some good news. We have been assigned a pastoral year seminarian. His name is Matthew Krusleski. Matthew will move in with me on May 29th and be assigned to us for one year. I know you will welcome Matthew with open arms, just like you welcomed Deacon Jeremy. Let us continue to pray for more vocations to the priesthood, religious life, and deaconate. Click here to learn more about Matthew:
