Gratitude for Faithfulness and Patience
My brothers and sisters in Christ,
First, I want to express my gratitude to God for you being a faithful and patient people of God.
Second, I want to say I am sorry about the sound system on the video we posted last Sunday. I hope that this coming Sunday at 11:30 am at St. Hyacinth (Mass not open to the public yet) we may do a little better. The Spanish Mass will continue to be live streamed from St. Mary's Cathedral at amarillodiocese.org/live at 10:00 am on Sunday.
I mentioned in the last homily a story that I heard on my last trip to the Holy Land about little lambs who wander and do not want to belong to the flock or do not listen to the shepherd. It is said that the shepherd would break the hoof of the lamb so that for the next three months the lamb depends totally on the shepherd for everything.
Let us continue praying for our first responders and especially for our nurses and doctors.
I would like to invite you to raise up prayers for our mothers, living and dead, so God would bless them.
Mary, Mother of Jesus, pray for us.
Fr. Lupe

Padre Lupe
