Essential Workers Project
Student Council launched a project to support essential workers who continue to work to ensure we can have as normal a life as possible during the pandemic. Attached is an updated list by class of who you can support through letters, cards, and/or artwork. Remember, essential workers aren't just those you see...think of the janitors, food production workers and other folks who may be overlooked, but who are the backbone of many of these facilities.

Great news! St. Francis de Sales School has been approved as a Jon Peterson Scholarship provider. This is HUGE for our school. The attached press release tells all about it and how to find out more information.
Parish Grant Forms Due 5/15
Download and complete your parish grant form today. Return your form by mail to 38 Granville Street, Newark, OH 43055 or scan and email it to us. Forms are due by Friday, 5/15. Please forward any questions to Parish Accountant Ernie Loy.
Confessions Continue
Fr. Dave has resumed hearing confessions (See his video message about it here)! This week he has slots open on Saturday, 5/16, 11 am - 1 pm. Remember confessions are by appointment only and other guidelines are in place. The Student Council received ideas from the Student Body to buy new playground equipment for next year and they've consolidated those ideas into a survey. Which item is your favorite? Have your student vote here.

Want to help us add more messages of hope started by our 8th grade class video? Email your video to us today! In participating in the Positive Sign Passing Video started by the 8th grade, we ask that participants share their Catholic spirit by wearing Spirit Wear! You can wear any type of Catholic t-shirt or sweatshirt, St. Francis spirit wear, NC spirit wear, or even a solid color! Thank you and we're so excited to add more students to our video!
8th Grade Graduation
Plan to join us online for Mass and the 8th grade graduation program on Thursday, May 28 at 7 pm on our YouTube channel. We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of this class and honoring them before the summer.
