Dear Parishioners,
It was wonderful to see so many of you through your windshields yesterday, and it continues to be our pleasure to provide you with recorded Sunday Masses
on our website, from our very own church. Do you miss Mass "at home"? We certainly miss seeing you there.
Attached for your reference is this Sunday's bulletin. Please read it carefully, as it contains information concerning the newest procedures for scheduling a Mass for 2021. As we fulfill our obligation to keep the Rectory office closed and do our best to keep you safe, we ask your cooperation in limiting requests for Masses to either submission by USPS mail, or by entering them online
on our Parish website. Out of respect and fairness to all of our parishioners, Mass requests are "first come, first served", and we cannot "hold" a Mass for anyone. Unfortunately, we are not able to take Mass requests via phone or email at this time. However, we look forward to the day we will once again be able to assist you in person.
Before closing, have you noticed the signs on our lawn? Our Faith understands a thing or two about sacrifice. Our Church is the result of the greatest Sacrifice of all. So, just as it says on our lawn - thank you to everyone on the "front lines", the doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, grocery staff, truckers, IPD, IFD, IVAC, etc. And... thank you to John "Fuffi" who took our parish's order for the signs, and donated them to ICC and, by virtue of that, our fair Village.
Have a wonderful week and don't forget that this Thursday is Ascension Thursday!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Fr. Ashman
