Church Famiky;
min case you think the caution exercised in coming together for worship has been to excessive, I want to give you a update on the local church that decided to meet, didn’t follow the guidelines, and now is in a mess.
The Joshua Cowboy Church decided to meet, and they did not follow the guidelines as recommended by the conference, to the best of my knowledge. Now the pastor and his wife have the virus, and others who were at the church have been exposed, and have been spreading that exposure to others in the community and in their homes. They have cancelled services again, and will reopen.
I am high-risk, and many in our congregation are also. I’d live for us to meet, but this is why we have been caution. The CDC has shown prolonged exposure of groups together is what leads to increase risk of catching the CV19 virus. We will be cautious, careful, and plan accordingly. We will prayerfully hope to open in June, if all things go well.
Thanks for your patience...
Dean
