What does the future hold for gatherings at Mass and other parish events?
Before all this, most of us took for granted those things that we thought would always be there, like church, visits with family and friends, school and travel and for some, even work. Now it seems that these activities and others could be changed for a long time. When restrictions are gradually eased, yet still limited, what will that mean for our church community? This question is occupying many discussions across multiple dioceses.
Once clearer details are made available by the Province of Ontario and by health authorities, directives will be sent to parishes to help abide by the regulations. How that will roll out for us at St Faustina Parish is yet to be determined, although we believe that initially there will be some form of continued social distancing that could limit the number of people who attend Mass.
If the numbers of who can attend Mass are limited, it will be imperative to know who you are so that we can set up a Mass schedule if it comes to that. You can help us out by updating your family / household profile in Flocknote.
As we receive more insight and details, we will be sure to keep you informed.
