Dear Stella Maris Parishioners,
Last weekend, I was relieved to see that so many are heeding warnings about the dangers associated with all public places during the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout the Diocese, Mass attendance was low and manageable. I was also pleased to be able to celebrate Masses for those who felt comfortable attending.
We will continue to observe all the protocols laid out in the column, "Reopening Stella Maris" except there will be no ministers of Holy Communion assigned to the Hall. If the church becomes full and people watch Mass in the Hall, they can come to the church doors for Holy Communion after Mass.
We will continue to Livestream the 9:30 a.m. Mass for those at home or outside of the church watching on smart phones. For more details, go to our webpage www.stellamarischurch.org and click on "Our News and Events" to read the latest bulletin columns. We will re-evaluate every week.
