Book Drop Off & Personal Belonging Pick Up Plan
Our drop off/pick up day is Friday, May 29. Your time window for pick up is based on your student's last name. Last names beginning with:
- A - E: 8 am – 9:30 am
- F - J: 9:30 am – 11 am
- K - P: 11 am – 12:30 pm
- Q - Z: 12:30 pm – 2 pm
Please read the attached documents for details regarding the procedure for the day. Our lost and found item list is also attached. If you identify something from the list as yours, please let us know. We would love to get these items back to you!

8th Grade Mass & Graduation
Plan to join us online for Mass and the 8th grade graduation program on Thursday, May 28 at 7 pm on our YouTube channel. We are looking forward to celebrating the achievements of this class and honoring them before the summer.
TRIP Update
TRIP is now accepting orders for physical cards. Orders will be released on Wednesday, 5/27 at 10 am. You will be notified when your order is ready to be picked up from the Faith and Family Center. Yearbook Update
Yearbook labs were shut down for the better part of three weeks due to COVID-19. They have reopened and are working hard to print and ship our order. As you can imagine, they are dealing with a backlog of yearbooks to work through as well as current yearbooks with later deadlines. We are hopeful that we will receive the books in time to allow them to sit for the required three days untouched. If that is the case, we will distributed them next Friday when you pick up/drop off supplies. If not, we will communicate another option. Thanks for your patience.

A Special Message from SFDS Faculty & Staff
Update on 2020-21 Tuition
Dear Families,
The accounting offices is getting ready to bill tuition for next year through Facts. We need all families to log into their Facts account and update their payment preferences and payment dates by Friday, 5/22 otherwise the system will automatically use last year's preferences. Even if you generally pay in full via check prior to July 1, for accounting purposes, we still need you to create an account through Facts. You may still pay in full by check prior to your payment date.
To create an account on Facts please click here. Create an account and add your payment preferences. Once the parish grants, Diocesan grants, trip earnings, and tuition are added by accounting, Facts will send you a itemized bill via email.
New This Year:
- As requested all sacramental prep fees are added to your tuition so that the payment is able to be spread over the entire year. If you wish to pay in one lump sum for next year, please contact Ernie Loy. Sacramental prep fees that are not included in tuition are due by August 15, 2020.
- Those students taking 6th and 7th grade higher Math will have their fees added to their tuition.
- Those students taking 8th grade High School Algebra will have their fees added to their tuition.
Regrettably we are not able to offer Spanish yet. Our Spanish Teacher, Patti Vincent, can not teach for us next year as she will have a full class line up at Newark Catholic. We are currently looking for a Spanish teacher. If we are able to find one, High School Spanish will be offered at cost to those 8th graders who wish to take it.
Due to COVID 19 and the uncertainty regarding retreats, we will not post retreat fees to tuition accounts at this time.
Preschool Families will receive tuition instruction at a later date.

The Great STEM Toy Giveaway
The Works has seven pallets of toys to give away to children ages 10 and under. The drive-through event will take place on Friday, 5/22, 4 - 7 pm in front of The Works buildings on 2nd Street. In partnership with toys for Tots and DOMI 7, our goal is to continue STEM learning at home. See flyer below for more details.
