We are proud to announce that Abigail Hutchison, 18, a senior at Rye High School has been awarded the 2020 Monsignor Patrick J. Boyle scholarship for $2000.
Msgr. Boyle was the dedicated pastor of our parish from 2002 to 2011.
Abigail attended Resurrection Grammar School and was an altar server and lector here. At Rye HS, besides getting excellent grades, she was a member of the National Honor Society and editor of the senior yearbook. She was captain of the Rye volleyball team and is a junior black belt in taekwondo. She also enjoys scuba diving. She volunteered at POTS for many years. She will attend the College of Charleston (Honors) in the fall.
May God bless Abigail, a bright and strong woman of many talents, in her future endeavors. The parish of Resurrection salutes and acknowledges her. We are sure that Monsignor Boyle is smiling on her from above!

Many interesting topics were brought up like resuming mass in church, also resuming school and religious education classes. We are grateful for the service, advice and wise counsel of our parish council. (see zoom photo below)
