Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Congratulations to you as parishioners of St. Irenaeus, St. Januarius, St. John the Baptist, St. Joseph and Our Lady of Joy Parishes. After several years of praying and working together, we will become one Parish together on July 1, 2020. Our new parish name will be Holy Family Parish, uniting us together under the patronage of the family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. How blessed we are to be given this sacred name to unite us even further into our Christian faith as sisters and brothers.
Attached to this Flocknote is a copy of the Decree from Bishop Zubik to all our parishioners. When I receive it, there will be a video posted on our website of me reading Bishop Zubik's letter to you and greeting you. I'll share that on our social media channels also. Our clergy team will continue to be Father George Dalton, Father David DeWitt as our Senior Parochial Vicars and Deacon Joseph Vannucci and Deacon Timothy Noca, with me, Father Kevin Poecking, as your new Pastor. I will be sending out a copy of Bishop Zubik's letter to each of you next week along with a letter from me.
Also, during this pandemic we will be returning to public Masses next Monday, June 1, and the first weekend in June. Things will be different as we go to Mass during the Yellow Phase of the Covid-10 Pandemic, so you'll want to know more about how to pre-register for Mass and know all of the safety protocol before showing up for Mass. That information will be in the bulletin this weekend which should be available by Friday here:

Congratulations to the new parishioners of Holy Family Parish, the newest parish in the Diocese of Pittsburgh!
In Christ's love,
Father Kevin
