We’ve had some trouble with Facebook recently. It seems that they are struggling with bandwidth. YouTube seems to be much more stable. 

We continue on our  study of Paul's Letter to the Galatians. In order to access all the resources for our study of Galatians, go to our website: stmarksbr.org/galatians.  

We received our shipment of Day by Day (Daily Devotions for Disciples) for May though July.  We have both the large and pocket-sized editions. Please give the office a call if you would like to have one mailed out to you.

As many of you know, the Veterans were hit very hard by the COVID -19 pandemic. This Memorial Day collection is especially important. The men and women of Community Hope are in need of non perishable food items such as:

Cereals and oatmeal

Pasta and Mac and cheese

Canned fruits and vegetables

Canned meats

Soups

Snacks (chips, crackers, cookies etc)

Community Hope has also requested masks, handmade or single use.  

There will be a cooler, starting Friday, stationed by the Red chapel door for you to put your donations in. You may also leave money in an envelope in the mailbox by the church office and I can go shopping for you!

We are heading down to Keansburg on Wednesday and need 10 meatloaves for this week.  The number of clients we are feeding has gone up recently. Please sign up here if you are able to help us by making a meatloaf or two.  Thank you!

As you know, the Foodbank is in great demand these days. You can help by making a monetary donation by clicking here.  This will allow the staff to purchase  much needed food to deal with the increase in demand at their door. Thank you!

There is a service streamed LIVE on Facebook and YouTube every day at 10am. We will be doing this for the duration of this crisis. If you miss these services you can always watch the service later on Facebook or on our YouTube channel

We are also going to be using Zoom for the daily 10AM services - audio only. Anyone can call in using their regular home phone.

We have started a prayer group that will meet on Zoom twice next week: Tuesday at 6:30PM and Wednesday at 7:30AM. This is for anyone and everyone who has concerns on their hearts, or who just wants to join in prayer with a group of other people. The format is very simple, and you can share as much or as little of the prayer requests that are on your hearts. The links are available on our home page.

Something new! On Friday evenings at 5PM we'll gather on Zoom for a virtual hour of happiness. We'll chat and hang out for a bit, enjoy each other's presence, and then we'll close with a very simple form of evening prayer.
