This Sunday, May 31 there will be a 'Communion Service' from 9:00 a.m until 10:00 a.m. We have not been able to have Mass, but Bishop Ricken has given permission to at least receive Holy Communion. There is no obligation to come, and we would still advise people who are elderly or health compromised not to attend.
You do not have to arrive at 9:00 as this will be a series of very short communion services consisting of 8 people at a time going throughout the hour.
We would encourage you to spiritually prepare before you arrive at the church, as nobody will be able to stay in church and pray during this time. You could watch a live stream Mass, or pray the Rosary, or pray with the scripture readings.
Here is a video explaining how this process will work here at Holy Family Parish. If you do decide to attend it would be helpful to watch the video before you arrive so you are familiar with the process.
