Though things will definitely look different and there are many precautions to be taken, we are excited to announce that we will be celebrating Mass WITH the presence of the faithful this weekend at Sacred Heart! Before you get ready to head out for Mass, please be sure to read this entire message to ensure the safety of our community. In order to provide this experience to as many as possible, and to keep things less complicated, we are holding Mass outside this weekend as a trial. Though our church is ready for parishioners, thanks to the great work of our maintenance team, we have not had sufficient time to train the ministers and many volunteers that will be necessary to keep the parish community safe to hold Mass indoors. Therefore, Mass will be celebrated at the following times in the field on the School-Side near the Parish Center (en el campo cerca del estacionamiento de la escuela):
Saturday, May 30 @ 7 PM in Spanish
Sunday, May 31 @ 9 AM in English
Sunday, May 31 @ 12 PM in English

We ask for your patience in all matters this weekend as we endeavor into uncharted territory together.
Given the location and many variable circumstances, it may be difficult to see or hear at Mass this weekend. We will do our best to accommodate you, but will be limited in our abilities to make adjustments to our current set up.
Please consider bringing a phone (if you have a plan with data), so that you may watch the live stream concurrently. We will also be sending out the readings and music in a Flocknote tomorrow. We are not able to print materials for Mass to distribute but you are welcome to pull up the digital file we will send on a mobile device or to print at home if you are able.
We will continue to live stream the following Masses to accommodate those who are unable to attend Mass in person:
Saturday 7 PM Mass outside in Spanish from Sacred Heart
Sunday 9 AM Mass outside in English from Sacred Heart
Sunday 11 AM Mass inside in English from St. Charles
Daily 9 AM Mass Monday-Friday inside in English from Sacred Heart
Thursday 7 PM Daily Mass inside in Spanish from Sacred Heart
Saturday Daily Mass 8 AM inside from Sacred Heart
In an attempt to begin to return to a more normal schedule, Confessions will be heard from 3-4 PM on Saturday (rather than 2-4 PM). There will still be 3 priests available and Confessions will be heard in both English and Spanish in the same locations: Drive-up with Fr. Jerry in front of the Little Church drop off area, Walk-up in English with Fr. Canisius in the courtyard near the rectory, and on the school-side near the Mother Seton statue with Fr. Hilario in Spanish. Confessions will continue to be heard in this manner until further notice. There will be additional opportunities for Confession at St. Charles Borromeo on Friday evenings beginning Friday, June 5th from 6-7 PM in the Main Church.

Daily Mass will now be open to the physical participation of the faithful beginning Monday, June 1st at 9 AM in English in the Main Church.
Daily Mass with the physical presence of the faithful will also be offered at St. Charles Borromeo in English beginning Monday, June 8th at 7:30 AM.
Daily Mass in Spanish will continue to be offered on Thursday evenings at 7 PM, now in the Main Church with the faithful welcome to attend.
