Dear Families,

Here are the topics we'll be covering in class this week in Chapter 17:

Grade 1:  In Baptism, we become members of God's family.
Grade 2:  We can see God's love in the world by the way we celebrate the Eucharist.
Grade 3:  When we fail to love God and others because of sin, Jesus calls us to forgiveness through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Grade 4:  Jesus is really present to us in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
Grade 5:  In the liturgy, Jesus Christ is present in the Word, in the assembly, and especially in the Eucharist.
Grade 6:  The prophets bring words of hope and encouragement.
