Dear Parishioners,
It's Tuesday and time for intercessory prayer.
Survey Results
But first, I want to thank everyone who took the survey about Sunday Mass the weekend of June 13-14. If the results are anything like the survey about Mass in the parking lot, then we can double the numbers. That still gives us plenty of room in the church at all Masses. It looks like many people will continue to stay at home. And that's great because we have a lot of parishioners in the high risk categories. So, I don't think we need to do any kind of sign-up for Mass.
Intercessory Prayer
I'll get us started. You may add your own intentions by clicking on the Reply button.
1) For our parish that we may figure out the best way forward for Mass in our church.
2) For peace and healing in our country in light of all the protests and riots.
3) For Marianne O'Neil whose funeral will be in the church on Monday at 12 noon.
4) For our staff as they return to work in the office, may they remain safe and healthy.
5) For the repose of the soul of my father whose first anniversary is on Sunday.
6) For our bishop and those who advise him, may they continue to discern the best path forward for our diocese.
7) For those returning to work, may they safely navigate the coronavirus in the workplace.
8) For those out of work, may they receive the resources they need until they can reenter the workforce.
God love you,
Fr. Jim
