My friends in Christ,
The pandemic disrupted so much we had planned this year, including our sacraments of initiation. I was happy to finally initiate our RCIA candidates into the Church this week. Though it was a quieter Mass than the Easter Vigil Mass we planned for, it was a joyful celebration.
I look forward to celebrating First Communion and Confirmation with our students later this summer. It will be a little different, a little more spread out, but that's okay. God's grace is the same.

It is good to see your faces back in the Cathedral each day for Mass. Though things are certainly different right now, we are doing what we can to celebrate together at the Lord's table.
If you'd like to attend an upcoming Mass, you will have to reserve a seat ahead of time. Reservations for weekend Masses open on Wednesday at 12:00 PM. Reservations for our 12:10 PM daily Masses, offered Monday-Friday, open each weekday at 12:00 PM for the next daily Mass.

Fr. Carlos will celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving on Sunday, June 21, as he prepares for his new assignment at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Gainesville. Since we can’t gather safely to wish him well, after Mass, officers will direct traffic through the alley between Peachtree Way and East Wesley for you to drop off gifts and cards.
