Dear Parishioners,
We are joyful and grateful that we have the option to celebrate Mass indoors this weekend. As always, we are doing our best to comply with the Bishop's and Governor's guidelines. We thank you all for your continued patience and cooperation as we adapt to the ever-changing new normal. Please see the bottom of this message for the Bishop's newest guidelines. REMEMBER: the Sunday Mass dispensation still holds, for those who are uncomfortable or unable to attend Mass right now.
Please read the below carefully for instructions on Phase 2 guidelines and Mass times.
We can fit 472 individuals into the church under physical distancing guidelines. Once we are at capacity, we will ask you to either come back for the next Mass or to stay on the Esplanade. If you stay on the Esplanade, you are welcome to watch Mass on Facebook from a personal hand-held device. Wheelchair and disability access will be through the choir door.
Do not seat yourself. Please follow the instructions of the ushers. If you require the low-gluten host, please inform the usher before you are seated. There is red tape in the church to mark the 6 foot distance. Please follow those markings.
Communion will be brought to the pews and the Esplanade. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE FROM YOUR SEAT. Communion will only be distributed in the Species of the Body. We recommend that everyone receive by hand, for the general safety of all our parishioners, including the high risk and elderly. The Sign of the Peace should be exchanged only within households. The Bishop and Governor still recommend wearing a cloth nose and mouth covering. Our ushers and Extraordinary Ministers will all be wearing face masks and will be sanitizing their hands.
After Mass, please exit through the nearest door. We encourage you not to stay and socialize at this time; as sanitation of the church will begin immediately following each Mass, in order to be prepared for the next one.
