Week 6 of 10 week Bible Study for adults “Symbolon: The Catholic Faith Explained”
haven't joined us yet, no problem - it's easy to get caught up online
explore a different aspect of our Catholic beliefs each week
this week: Part 6 Why do Christians worship a crucified God? Wasn’t there a better way to save us from sin? Why did Jesus say on the cross, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?” The core of our faith rests on the death and resurrection of Jesus - the total self-giving required of Him to redeem us from our sins. Each week there are 2 short videos with discussion in between. Please join us on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30pm, or follow along on the FORMED website under Symbolon. (click here to add this session to your calendar)
Classes are Tuesdays at 1:30pm in the Church Library, but if you can’t make it, please join us online through the FORMED website. Look under the Program tab, and then look for Symbolon. The videos are there, along with a Participant’s Guide.
