St. Faustina Weekly Update
Happy Friday! We want to thank those of you who took the time to fill out our parish feedback survey. Your feedback is valuable as it pertains to our reopening phase. Our next part of this initiative involves volunteers from the parish, on behalf of Fr. Dat, reaching out to our families this week to check in and see if you need anything. If you are unfamiliar with our current status as a parish or need additional information, please check out our new FAQ's Page. For those who wish to join us for Mass this weekend, please make sure you click our Eventbrite link to make your reservation. We continue to see more of our parishioners coming back to Mass, and expect to hit our 25% limit at a few of the Masses this weekend. Please don't delay with your reservation. If you wish to join us, please go through the attached health checklist before coming to the parish.

Reflection on Sunday's Readings
Jesus was very clear about the cost of discipleship. It might entail family division, persecution, and even death. He didn't mince words when he talked about the hardships his followers would face. And yet, at the same time he says, "Do not be afraid." Isn't this a bit of a contradiction? Does it seem odd that Jesus warns us about future difficulties but then tells us not to worry? Every Thursday from 8-9am, we have boxes of fresh fruits and vegetables to distribute to those in need. Please join us to receive a box, now running every Thursday morning in June and July.

Friends, while we would love to offer Vacation Bible School on campus this summer, the current pandemic and present conditions will prevent us from offering this great event at the parish. Our team has been working on alternatives for the last few months that will allow you to host VBS in your own home, while still experiencing some of the best parts about the VBS program (and its great volunteers and clergy!)
The options for registration are:
- Access to all the online videos and resources for FREE
- Access to all of the videos PLUS all the great VBS items that you are familiar with, such as Saint Cards, a Tracking With Jesus Bible Book, Bible Buddies, Imagination Station activity materials, stickers and a Power Band which will be $10.00 per child. (this option is limited, so please reserve this sooner than later.)
- Access to all the online videos and resources for FREE
- Access to all of the videos PLUS all the great VBS items that you are familiar with, such as Saint Cards, a Tracking With Jesus Bible Book, Bible Buddies, Imagination Station activity materials, stickers and a Power Band which will be $10.00 per child.
