Dear friends,
I hope that this email finds you well.
I am writing to share with you a few more parish updates.
1. Resuming Masses at St. Michael (and our normal Sunday Mass schedule)
Starting the weekend of June 27/28 we will resume having 2 Sunday Masses: an 8:00am Mass at St. Michael in Dane and a 10:00am Mass at St. Patrick in Lodi. We will also continue to have the Saturday evening Vigil Mass at 4:30pm at St. Patrick.
In order to attend any of these weekend Masses you will need to sign up as we are still limited in our attendance capacity due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please look for another email next week with a sign up link.
The weekday Mass schedule will remain as is (9:00am, Tuesday-Friday, at St. Patrick) until Fr. Joe's arrival (when it will probably revert back to its original schedule). I will be taking a few days off over the next 2 weeks so it doesn't make sense to make any changes with it when there will be some cancellations anyway. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
2. A Chance to Say Goodbye!
I feel a bit odd advertising this, but members of our parish staff and pastoral council have asked me to share the following with you:
On Sunday, July 5, from 11:15am until 12:15pm a drive-thru farewell reception for Fr. Scott will be held at St. Patrick in Lodi. You (and your family) are invited to drive-thru by the new drop off entryway at St. Patrick to say goodbye to Father and to enjoy some light refreshments that will be handed out to all of those who come. Please enter the parking lot from the newly renovated Pond Street (as if coming for a carryout meal at the parish festival). After saying goodbye you will exit behind the church building and down Fr. Scott's driveway onto Fair Street. We hope that you will join us!
3. There are still seats available to attend Holy Mass this weekend at St. Patrick and HELP IS STILL NEEDED.
You can sign up to attend a weekend Mass (4:30pm on Saturday, June 20, and 9:00am on Sunday, June 21 at St. Patrick) by
clicking here (or on the gold button below).
Also, I am still looking for some volunteers to help usher, lector, altar serve, etc. You can sign up to volunteer by
clicking here (or on the gold button below).
4. No Weekday Masses on the following dates: June 30, July 1, July 7-10
Please note that there will not be public Masses on June 30, July 1, and July 7-10 as I'll be preparing to move. Thanks for your understanding.
Finally, on this Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, let us continue to beg the Lord Jesus to make our hearts a bit more loving, tender, and merciful...just like His!
With my prayers,
Fr. Scott
