The CCASTA Social Action Committee invites you to participate in a timely “Conversation on Racism.” We want to create a space where our parish can honestly discuss the issue of racism and can share our stories and thoughts, a place where we can share our faith, a place where we can share our ideas and develop actions to address this reality in our nation, our community, and our Church.
On Wednesday, July 15th at 7:30 pm, we’ll kick off a three-session Zoom conversation for all parishioners, high school age and above. Several of our parishioners will share their own personal stories, including Deborah Jones, the first African-American student to attend St. Augustine School, in 1955.
