June 23, 2020
Hello, Everyone!
If you think about it, June holds a number of blessings!
Beautiful weather - Summer is here - opportunities to spend time outside - cautious beginnings to gather with family & friends - soft openings of restaurants & stores...
Let's appreciate all that we do have now!
I hope all fathers & grandfathers had a chance to celebrate & enjoy a bit of family time!
The last activity bag held Camping ideas. I heard back from a number of families who enjoyed the suggestions. Even older siblings got into counting "fire wood" & marshmallow art (I was told, it's a shame to waste a marshmallow on painting!).
Thank you for sharing pictures! I do appreciate seeing young learners in action.
Summer is here. I thought putting a few beach activities into the bag might be fun.
"I Spy", rhyming & Jellyfish should keep children busy off & on in the next few days
Yesterday found me making copies & getting a craft idea ready.
Activity bags are ready for pick-up
in the East Breezeway of the church!
Times/days to do so: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Along with activities, you will find a Hand Print Reminder! Yes, that'll still happen on July 8,9 & 10! I am so glad that all families had a chance to schedule a time to get a hand on this chair!! Thank you so much!
I know, even the new normal puts limits on our time. Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule! All of us at St.James appreciate your continued support & help!
Speaking of which: I heard a rumor about a Golfing Event coming up?
Meghan & Brandon Hamilton are in the process of organizing a fundraiser for our school! Be sure you read flock notes for more information!
Have fun in the outdoors & watching your child grow & learn!
