St. Vincent DePaul still needs our help

Needs for the St. Vincent de Paul Pantry this week are as follows:
pancake mix and syrup, cereal, vegetable soup, or canned meat other than tuna

All donations are truly appreciated.StVdP wants to ask parishioners to PLEASE make it a habit to bring at least one food item each time they attend mass in hopes that more food can be donated. This would enable SVDP to deliver to families more often. Currently, our families only get help only once every 6 months.

Gabriel Project

The Gabriel Project celebrated the birth of one of our babies on February 4! She weighed 5 lbs. 8 oz. and is in need of Preemie or Newborn diapers or new/gently-used tiny clothing.
Donations may also be left in the SVDP Box in the Narthex.
We also have girl babies who are currently 4 months and 6 months old. Please join us in praying for these little girl babies and their mommies.
Your prayers and donations help them to have healthier and happier lives.

Haiti Mission Cans

Members of the Haiti Committee will be handing out cans this weekend to support the medical clinic in Haiti.
Cans can be returned at the collection on Holy Thursday or on Easter.

Our pastor, Fr. Brian Doerr, has long enjoyed studying the Book of Revelation. The book is the center of much discussion and even futuristic speculation. What is really happening in the Book of Revelation? What is the message St. John is attempting to communicate? Does the book impact the future of the world? Can any of this be ascertained or interpreted by modern Christians? The mark of the beast, the anti-Christ, the whore of Babylon, 666, God's wrath... and the victory of the Divine Lamb, it will all be discussed and revealed. YES! There are answers to these questions.

Christ 101: The Evidence for Christianity

Are you a college student who encounters hostility from peers or academics because of your Christian faith? Are you a parent who is concerned about your kids keeping their faith as they head toward college?

The Christ 101 course created by Scott M Sullivan, Ph.D. shows how to defend your faith against popular misconceptions and attacks using reason with evidence. The full course is available to parishioners on DVD with 14 hours of video given over 28 lessons.

A condensed version of the program will be presented on Sundays during Lent, from 10:15-11:00 AM, by Kevin Luksus (Dates: March 5, 12, 19, 26, and April 2). Kevin is an Ecclesial Lay Minister and parishioner at St. Francis.
