Quick Reminder of Prayer Circles

At 7:30PM, TONIGHT, we again meet for prayer circles hosted on ZOOM. This is a video conferencing platform, however, for those who are unable to video conference, you may also call in. These three prayer circles will be hosted by our elders; Greg, Yvette, and Lee. We will be divided up by the first letter of your last name. Please see the instructions below, and join others for this time of prayer and praise online!

Our updated Sabbath Schedule, which continues this week.!

9:45A - Leaders prep for Connect Groups

10:00A - Connect Groups (adults, children ages 7-13, and youth, 14+ )

11:00A - Worship Service

Note: at this time we will not have any classes for younger children, due to continuing CV19 concerns, and the necessity to deep clean in each classroom. Therefore, we will have one class for ages 7-13 (held in the school common area), as well as youth, 14+, in the new classroom off the foyer.

We are working on the streaming platform, but have chosen to invest in the right equipment in place, rather than spend money on temporary equipment, and install, when the right equipment will make all the difference. If you would like to give specifically to this fund, you may do so online. We our seeking to raise $15,000 total to complete everything. You may go to our Adventist Giving page, and give to the line of "Streaming Project", which will be set up. Our hope is to have the streaming up and running by First Sabbath of July. We sincerely apologize for the delay, as I know many of you would prefer to be with us in person, but caution and wisdom have determined you should remind home. I know you want to worship with your church family, and it is a present urgency to get this done in order for you to do so. Trust me, it will be worth it when completed!

We kind of want to wait for you to experience it yourself, but we cannot wait any longer to show many of you, who have not been able to come to the church, what we have done with our renovation. So let me whet your appetite, so you can praise God!

I reflect on all God is doing at Lewisville and get excited about what He has coming next, which will be even more incredible than all He has done thus far. We still have challenges, especially with CV19, but they will pass soon. As I look around our country, and the world also, I see turmoil, and chaos. If there was a time we need to share the gospel with others, this is it. The sharing is more than just words, it is in our actions, which people need to see in abundance from us. They see enough hate and division, what they desire most is love, acceptance, forgiveness, togetherness.

What is God doing in your life? What burdens do you carry for others He alone knows about, but keep you awake sometimes? He knows, and as much as you love these individuals, Christ died for them, and loves them infinitely more. Share your heart, intercede in prayer on their behalf, live the gospel, see what God will do!

I will be on vacation beginning tomorrow, and back on duty July 5th! The next two Sabbaths will be an experiment in regards to preaching, to see how you like something a bit different. Lee Murray, Greg Peck, or Yvette Akar can be reached if you need pastoral assistance while I am away. I love you all, but I ain't answering the phone!

Please keep our school in prayer, and recommend it to others as we build our enrollment for the coming year. Ebony is off and running, and Luis is trying to keep up! If you have a family even considering the school, please connect with Ebony or Luis and they will meet with them. You may also contact Lee Murray, who is serving as school board chair, if you would like. We need 36 students enrolled to fund both our teachers, and we would also like to actively have a Pre-K and K classroom with another teacher. God has got this! He can do it, but our part is to share the good news about Adventist Education, and how Christ is represented so well in our school.

I would also like to take a minute to thank Sandra Goodrich for all she has done for the school. We want to give her a proper thank you, and will do so in the near future, but we need to just thank her for her commitment to our students, to love them as Jesus would, and lead our school to what we have today. Thanks Sandra!!!!!!!!!
