Suspicious Emails. We have received calls and emails about fraudulent emails being received by people from a spam account using Archbishop Gregory’s, Father Mel's, or other priests’ names. Please note that the archbishop and Father Mel will not communicate a need for assistance in this way. At this point we are unable to stop these emails as these fraudulent email accounts. Please mark these emails as spam and phishing. Please be diligent in not responding to suspicious emails.
Sacrament of Confession. Confessions are held on Saturday afternoons from 4:00 PM to 4:45 PM in the Parish Hall. Please enter the front doors of the church on the Parish Hall side. An usher will direct you to the line for confessions. As you enter the church, please wear a face mask or facial covering, sanitize your hands, and maintain social distancing (six feet) while in the church and parish hall.
Celebrating Special Wedding Anniversaries: 2020 Jubilarian Mass. Are you celebrating a special wedding anniversary? Each year the Archdiocese of Washington honors couples married 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, and 51+ years at the annual Jubilarian Mass, held Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. For more information or to register for the Mass, please call the parish office. The deadline to register is September 30.
2020 St. Nicholas Bazaar. The bazaar will return this fall on Friday, October 16 & Saturday, October 17. We are looking for people to donate and make crafts, and possibly teach some crafting classes. We are starting to collect used books for the "Pages in the Past" booth. Start setting aside your gently used treasures for our "Treasure Trove" sale.
