We are thrilled to announce that Catechesis of the Good Shepherd programming will continue this fall led by Ms. Diane Roddy and Miss Grace Wright. We are blessed to have these talented ladies follow their passion to offer this unique experience for our children. Presently we're the only school in Newark where Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is available. It's a great time to be at St. Francis!

Attention Rising 8th Graders and Above
The annual Steubenville Conference for youth grades 8 through graduating high school seniors will be live and in-person 7/17 through 7/19 in Murphy Hall! Hundreds of thousands of people will be streaming this amazing event. The cost is just $10 to cover food; space is limited so be sure to sign up now with us (not with Franciscan University)! Introducing "Focus" Family VBS, brought to you by St Francis de Sales ONLINE. Register on the parish website to join the fun July 13-17! VBS is absolutely FREE! You will receive an email each day that will contain Bible stories, skits, crafts, songs, and some friendly faces you might recognize! There will also be a family activity every day. School This Fall
Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Adam Dufault has shared a letter to our parents of what our hopes and plans look like at the moment for school opening in the fall. Be assured of our concern for the health and safety of everyone in the school buildings. Of course, we need to be flexible as we receive guidance from the State Health and Education Departments, but our greatest desire is to rejoin in community with one another. Read the letter.

Cheerleading Team
Cheerleading season is right around the corner, and though we are unsure of what the season will look like, I wanted to send out a message for the upcoming 2020 season. If your daughter will be entering the 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade and are interested in cheering, please contact DiAnna Green by email at digreen@windstream.net or by cell 740.403.1062 . We will be starting open conditioning as soon as possible. We are working in unison with our Newark Catholic Varsity Cheer program and look forward to building a strong Cheer Program for all athletes.
