A MESSAGE FROM ALLY WHEELER
Dear Friends,
I hope you all are well! I recently received a new assignment and I wanted to take this opportunity to share a little bit of where Jesus is leading me and now asking me to serve.
About a month ago, I got a phone call from one of the Consecrated who is helping with personnel assignments. She asked me to consider taking on the role of Territorial Administration, which meant working on the National Team to help with finance, fundraising, and the sustainability of the Consecrated Women in North America. This came as quite a surprise, but I had to honestly say that something within me stirred to life. I went through a series of interviews and conversations and spent a lot of time in Adoration to learn more about this role and to discern if this is where Jesus was leading me. A couple weeks ago, I got another phone call to let me know that I was being formally proposed to take on this role. And just a few days ago, I received the news that I was officially named as Territorial Administrator. It was quite a whirlwind!
This means that I will move to Atlanta by the end of July to begin orientation for this role. I don’t think I have ever quite experienced such divided emotions. I am truly moved, honored, and excited to serve the Consecrated on a national level. But I also cannot believe that my time here in Cincinnati is coming to a close. I leave with such gratitude for you all. I have gained friendships here. I have learned trust and loved sharing our beautiful mission of experiencing the love of Jesus with you. I have so enjoyed being part of your life and your family. And I bring you and what you have taught me to my new mission in Atlanta. And, I will be back…it is a consolation to me that the distance from Atlanta to Cincinnati is drivable and my new mission includes travelling to visit each of the houses of the Consecrated Women!
I want to let you know that we will have an “open house” outside in the back of the Holy Spirit center on Friday, July 10th, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. If you can stop by, I would love to see you before I head south.
Know that I keep all of you in my heart and prayers, and I thank you for enriching my life with your friendship and love.
Yours in the heart of Jesus,
Ally Wheeler
Territorial Finance Officer for the Consecrated Women
