VIRTUAL VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Our parishioners are wonderful! When VBS was cancelled last month, the Clifford and Triesch families got busy recording God with Us…Who is Jesus? As a result, we happily present our first-ever VVBS! Go HERE to attend at no cost from home, with great bible stories, songs and crafts. Have fun!
PRAY WITHOUT CEASING
SUNDAY MASSES
Our Mass attendance last week: Sat 5pm-253, Sun 9am-326, Sun 1pm-254, Sun 5pm-214. We are grateful to our volunteer ushers and church sanitizing team – not to mention our wonderful priests – who make Mass possible in these uncertain times.
STAYING OPEN
Your act of humility and obedience is what allows us to keep the church open for Mass and Sacraments. Thank you! So, keep showing up with masks on, wash your hands, maintain a safe distance and please stay home if you have symptoms of illness of any kind.
… AND STAYING CONNECTED
In these uncertain times, the majority of our parish family is staying home, but staying connected by participating in the recorded Mass, growing as a faith-filled family, and supporting the work of the parish via Faith Direct. Thank you for your faithfulness and generosity.
BACK TO SCHOOL SHOE DRIVE
Stop by the tag line on the plaza after Mass (just like old times) to participate in the annual Social Concerns drive for new school shoes given to 400 children in need. Pick up a shoe tag or donation envelope on the plaza or GO HERE now to participate from home. Thank you!
FAMILY FRIENDLY ROSARY
Meet up with other St. Laurence families on Zoom to pray the Rosary every Friday at 8 pm. They have been praying together each week during the pandemic and they welcome people of all ages to join them. Go HERE for the Zoom link and join them!

SUMMER READING
SPEAK UP
We cannot build a culture of life in a nation that still puts people to death. For the first time in 17 years, the federal government has scheduled three executions beginning July 13. Go HERE to join a multi-faith effort led by Catholic Mobilizing Network to appeal the practice of federal executions.
CIVILIZATION OF LOVE
Participate in an online workshop led by Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers to discover the Catholic response to racism rooted in the Beatitudes. Go HERE to register for the workshop, limited to 50 participants and offered at 7 pm CDT on July 8, July 13 and July 26.
BE NOT AFRAID
Need a lift? Go HERE to watch Be Not Afraid, a favorite Catholic hymn sung by some of your favorite Catholic artists, including our own Danielle Noonan. Remember the theme Fr. Drew chose for our parish this year? Surrender to God and He Will Do Everything for You.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
The church and parish office will be closed on Friday, July 3, except for the Noon Mass. Please celebrate the founding of our great country safely and unite in prayer for our state, our country and the whole world.
