• Pedal With Padre Catholic Outreach Ministries is excited to kick off a brand new event in support of our community members in spiritual, material and financial need. Pedal with Padre is on Saturday, 8/8 and offers three biking routes ranging from 4 - 23.5 mile rides, making it perfect for riders of all ages and fitness levels. • You’ve Never Experienced Jesus Like This Before Sometimes the Gospel can feel more like a story than like real life, but not anymore! • Steubenville Live: Hope Alive The annual Steubenville Conference for youth grades 8 through graduating high school seniors will be live and in-person 7/17 through 7/19 in Murphy Hall! Hundreds of thousands of people will be streaming this amazing event. The cost is just $10 to cover food; space is limited so be sure to sign up now with us (not with Franciscan University)! 
• School This Fall Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Adam Dufault has shared a letter to our parents of what our hopes and plans look like at the moment for school opening in the fall. Be assured of our concern for the health and safety of everyone in the school buildings. Of course, we need to be flexible as we receive guidance from the State Health and Education Departments, but our greatest desire is to rejoin in community with one another. Read the letter. Mrs. Mummey and Mr. Watson also have a letter to share specific to our school.
• St. Francis Preschool Now Enrolling Registration is open for our preschool (age 3 - Pre-K) program. We take much pride in our high expectations and learning opportunities that promote number sense, reading, writing, and how school works. Our preschoolers will participate in Catechesis of The Good Shepherd, visiting their own specially-appointed Atrium to learn about prayer, Mass, Miracles of Christ, and His parables. • FOCUS Virtual VBS Experience Summer 2020 may look different than we originally planned, but we’re still excited to partner with you to host the VERY BEST SUMMER! FOCUS VBS Virtual Experience to help kids dive deeper into their faith by putting the FOCUS on God and His amazing plan for us. This online experience is absolutely FREE and will take place the week of July 13! 4. US Mail If you would like to continue using your envelopes, please mail your contribution into the parish office at 40 Granville Street, Newark, OH 43055. Checks are preferred as cash is not a safe or secure way to fulfill your offertory through the mail.
