Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The adults had been preparing in classes, discussions and prayer.
This year there were two adults (catechumens) who received the Sacraments of Initiation; Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion at the Vigil. There also were six adults (candidates) who, having been baptized in another Christian denomination, came into full communion with the Catholic Church by making a Profession of Faith, and receiving the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion. And, two baptized Catholics completed their initiation with the reception of Confirmation and First Communion.
